This time around I wanted my second little boy nursery to be a little less cottagey but I worked with the room’s existing light, awnings and basic furniture (but I did get a better rocker — I learned that lesson!). I chose more modern fabrics but kept some Southern baby staples like monograms and smocked outfits. It’s just enough of a Domino-inspired look to make mommy happy without clashing with the rest of the house, which remains fairly cottage-like.
