It took just under six hours to reach the 10,000-entry limit for this blogiversary giveaway, so we have an earlier-than-planned update. Our randomly selected winner is Britta, who shared that she’s currently navigating baby and preschooler life and hopes that in five years she won’t “have to deal with someone else’s poop on a daily basis and be able to sleep through the night!” Congratulations, Britta!
For each blogiversary we like to celebrate with something special. This year’s “five” theme inspired us to team up with five of our favorite retailers to offer five separate $500 prizes. The participating brands are FLOR, HomeGoods, Joss & Main, Shades of Light and Z Gallerie. Together these prizes total $2,500 for one lucky winner to spend in celebration of our fifth blogiversary.
Each of these five partners means a lot to us and carries a place in our blog’s history. Z Gallerie has been one of our earliest and most consistent sponsors, and they’ve donated blogiversary prizes before — including the very first giveaway on this site that surpassed 1,000 entries.
Shades of Light, based in Richmond, is another long-time partner whose fixtures and finds have appeared in our home multiple times. They’re a brand we love visiting, especially at their outlet, and we’re excited to share a related announcement about them soon.
Joss & Main is a newer favorite that has given us the opportunity to curate sale collections on their site twice. We enjoyed feeling like designers while working with them, and we appreciate their collaboration and support.
HomeGoods pops up on the blog frequently, and they’ve helped us with generous giveaways before. One of our favorite collaborations with them was a makeover we did for a local family’s living areas, where their finds made a big difference in the transformation.
FLOR is a brand whose catalogs we always look forward to receiving. Beyond that, FLOR will play an important role in our upcoming book tour, and we’ll share more details about that next week. Their products have inspired many of our decorating projects and continue to be a source of design ideas.
