Now that our kitchen remodel is finished, we thought it was the perfect moment for a long-overdue video house tour. Our previous tour was nearly three years ago and showed very little progress since it was filmed only seven months after we moved in. With the first floor now looking dramatically different, we pulled out the camera and walked through the house the way we usually do: John films while I chatter non-stop. If you watch closely, you might spot two frames that currently hold a sideways stock photo of a stranger—our family pictures are on order, and for now that girl in the hat gives us a good laugh.

We also filmed the upstairs, which still has a few projects in progress. In the upstairs tour you’ll hear about the two bathrooms we haven’t renovated yet—particularly the master bath, which will need a full overhaul eventually. We’ve also got some smaller tasks to finish, such as completing a partially finished wall in our daughter’s room and addressing a handful of other touch-ups. Apologies for the odd dark lines that show up in the hall bath footage—our camera struggled with that lighting.
