Back in December we were utterly stunned when we won the Remodel, Blog & Win contest. Not only did we receive a cash prize of $5,000, but we also earned a featured interview with Meghan Carter from AskTheDecorator.com. Meghan’s travel schedule meant she wasn’t available to film until June, which gave us six months to get our house camera-ready—time we used to tidy, tweak, and photograph every room so our home would look its best on camera.
Finally, this past Saturday arrived: the interview day. It felt surreal to host a professional crew in our small spaces. For a while the house looked like a temporary studio, with lights, tripods, and cameras set up in corners we usually reserve for blankets and plants.
