We’re currently blogging from the beach. Before you get jealous, know that it’s about 20 degrees outside and we even saw a little light snow last night. Still, we’re enjoying the chance to relax and recharge at John’s parents’ lovely beach house just outside of Rehoboth, Delaware. The combination of crisp air, quiet mornings, and the sound of distant waves has been exactly what we needed.
They only recently purchased the house, and it’s impressive how quickly they’ve made it feel warm and welcoming. In just a few months the place has become comfortable and livable—full of personality, thoughtful touches, and little details that make staying here easy and pleasant. We’ve spent our downtime playing board games, reading, watching movies, and snuggling with Burger, the family dog.
