We love our home office after following ideas from your mood board. The green, white & brown combo is perfect and we can’t thank you enough! And the closet, well, let’s just say I don’t dread anyone looking behind the curtain. Everything is in its place and if it isn’t (note the white organization drawers sitting on top of desk) then no one is the wiser! This room has easily become my favorite in our house! Thanks again! And I must confess that this room has been finished for a couple of months. So, this is my note to all other design dilemma peeps out there: if I can overcome my laziness and send in my pics, so can you- I’m not above begging for some of yours! Let’s take a look at the room before the mood board was applied. The original space had potential but lacked personality and cohesive storage, leaving it underused and uninspiring. The before photos clearly show a room that needed a clear plan for color, furniture placement, and smart organization.
And now, the after photos. The updated office showcases a calm, inviting palette of green, white, and brown that brings warmth and focus to the space. The desk sits beneath a wide, high window that lets in natural light, while leafy curtains add softness and a touch of nature. The result is a balanced, functional work area that feels intentional and welcoming.
The closet makeover deserves special mention. What was once hidden clutter has been transformed into a neat, accessible storage area. Simple organizational solutions — such as labeled drawers and tidy shelving — make it easy to keep supplies organized and out of sight, which helps maintain the calm aesthetic of the office. These practical changes prove that smart storage has a big impact on how a room functions and feels.
Color choice played a major role in this upgrade. The green accents bring an energizing yet soothing vibe, while white surfaces keep the room bright and open.
