If you live in Richmond, you may have already guessed that the “Sunny” mentioned in this morning’s Reader Redesign is local paint artist Sunny Goode. Even readers outside the area might recognize the name — Sunny’s work has been featured here before, including in a Domino-featured home where her signature stenciled floor treatment made a memorable impact:

Recently we had the chance to preview one of her newest floor treatments at Clover, a children’s consignment boutique opening soon in Richmond’s Carytown district. The painted floors there are a perfect example of how Sunny’s techniques turn ordinary surfaces into something fresh and unexpected.
