Last October we teamed up with Joss & Main to curate a special sale event, creating a Young House Love collection from hundreds of items on their site. That collaboration was so much fun that when they invited us back for a spring collection—and offered an extra special perk for readers this time—we jumped at the chance. (Side note: I used to spell that word “siked” until freshman year when my friend corrected me.)
It’s a little amusing to see the title “curator” attached to us—aside from my unofficial role as Curator of Outfits with Dog Hair and Cream Cheese Smears—but having the opportunity to assemble a mini virtual decor shop for the next 60 hours is genuinely exciting. While we didn’t set the prices, we carefully selected items across a broad price range to suit different budgets, from under $25 accessories to furnishings priced above $250. Our picks include pieces we already own and love, like our cheerful yellow kitchen radio and the gray nailhead chair in the living room.
For anyone new to Joss & Main or to online curated home decor sales, this collection makes it easy to browse a thoughtfully edited range of products. We focused on a mix of practical and decorative items: lighting, accent chairs, serving dishes, tabletop accessories, small storage solutions, and a few standout statement pieces. In addition, Joss & Main provides referral credits when a curated collection drives purchases. Instead of keeping those store credits for ourselves, we asked Joss & Main if we could pool them into a single “gift account” and use them for a reader giveaway, and they agreed.
